Through hands-on courses and projects, you will explore AI, web development, robotics, computer graphics, and more. Turn your passion into a personalized learning path at Randolph-Macon College.
At RMC, you’ll explore computer-science theory and apply it to real-world software development in computer and robotics labs. You can work with Windows and Linux systems across robotics, 3-D modeling, web programming, parallel computing, and high-performance computing, with faculty—not TAs—making your learning their first priority.
By senior year, you’ll expand your knowledge through a capstone, and you may also pursue a Schapiro Undergraduate Research Fellowship in an area of personal interest. Recent faculty-mentored projects have explored machine learning for emotion recognition and generative adversarial networks for painting generation, giving you hands-on research experience for your career or future graduate study.
