In and beyond the nursing classroom

Nursing majors at RMC are part of a cohort of nursing students who graduate ready to impact patients’ lives. You’ll have small classes in our state-of-the-art labs. Clinical rotations in healthcare facilities begin in your sophomore year, which lets you put your new knowledge and skills into practice right away in a variety of settings (adult, obstetrics, pediatrics, mental health, community) in some of the most reputable healthcare systems in the country.

A college that cares about the whole you

At RMC, nursing faculty team up with other RMC staff, coaches, and even alumni who support our future nurses by nurturing their passions, opening doors and helping you find your way. You’ll find faculty committed to your learning and success, and ample opportunities to participate fully in Randolph-Macon’s dynamic campus life and take courses across the arts and sciences.

Our BSN was built to allow time for extracurricular activities including D3 athletics. Faculty work closely with coaches to ensure you’re set up to thrive on and off the field as a student-athlete.
